My favourite movies
I have seen many wonderful movies in all kind of genres but, for now, I have picked my TOP 3 all time favourites.
These are movies I can watch over and over and over again, I never get tired of them.

Big business (1988)

Genre:
Comedy

Cast:
Bette Midler, Lily Tomlin, Fred Ward, Edward Herrmann
Why I give this
Mainly because of the humor and how it is delivered. One funny scene, of many, that made me laugh so hard tears actually came, is when Lily Tomlins character (one of them), has chocolate stuck on her teeth in a business meeting. Everyone tries to discretely make her aware of this but she just keeps smiling. Hilarious!

"If you want to laugh, laugh and laugh some more, watch this movie!!!"

Fried green tomatoes (1991)

Genre: Comedy, Drama

Cast:
Kathy Bates, Chris O'Donnell, Mary Stuart Masterson, Mary-Louise Parker
Why I give this
I love the flow of the story, the comedy that so cleverly makes me burst out in laugh when I least expect it. Great acting and directing, you really feel like you are with the characters back in time and you can feel how the atmosphere must have beenback then.

When I forget that I'm watching a movie and really feel like I'm with the characters and feel for them as well as with them, that for me is a great movie! This movie does just that.

"Travel back in time with this movie!!"

Steel magnolias (1989)

Genre:
Drama, Romance, Comedy

Cast:
Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hannah, Julia Roberts

Why I give this
So funny and full of great acting but at the same time a heartfelt story as well. I love how you get to follow the characters for a few years and see how their lives change in all sorts of ways.

I really think Daryl Hannahs character is the funniest, Shirley MacLaine is also hilarious. And it was in this movie I first realized what a great actor Sally Field is, of course pretty much all actors in this movie are talanted actors!

"If you for some reason have not seen this movie, doooo iiit!"
