December has arrived and almost passed me by, just like this entire year has really. (I took this photo on the train on my way home from work a few days ago.)
And if I were to guess which season of the year it is right now by simply looking at the weather we are having, I would certainly not guess winter. Nor would I guess that Christmas is around the corner, but it is. Yikes! But yikes in a good way - I do love the Christmas season! :-) However, December has been almost completely snowless here in Lyckeby in Sweden so far... So I do hope we get some snow and colder temperatures in time for Christmas.
Well, we did have some snow for about 24 hours a while back (before it melted away). Hehe.
Anyway, it has been an extremely hectic and stressful period in my life these past couple of months. I have not had enough presence of mind to be able to focus or spend time and energy on what I really should - which is totally my bad. I know better. This is of course why I have been away from my beloved blogs so much. It is hard to explain, but I recently saw this video below and I instantly felt like that is exactly how I feel - like the seed who thinks it should be a good seed. So I need to work on that, because I do truly know better.
I talk more about Eckhart Tolle, and why I think his book "A New Earth" is the most powerful book I have read so far in my life, in my post Good Morning.
Now on to a Lisen update, my beloved doggy, who is doing well. She is a happy, playful and almost completely healthy 12 year old. Of course she does have some age related troubles, but nothing major. The only thing is that Lisen will have to eat medicine for her joints the rest of her life, I found out on our last visit to the vet about two months ago. And to make sure the pills do not affect her organs I have to take her to the vet to take a blood test from time to time. But hopefully everything will continue to look good. Because Lisen surely behaves like she is the healthiest, though a bit old, doggy on Earth. :-)
Lisen enjoying that 24 hour snow we had.
So, although my body and soul are not completely in sync at the moment I do feel like they will be again in due time. I am not, however, as sure I will be able to see anymore snow around here in time for Christmas. Lol! But I certainly do hope so! :p
