I have now been commuting to my new job, from Karlskrona to Karlshamn, about two weeks. Though I am starting to get used to it, the commuting thing is a process I would not mind living without. Mainly because it takes about two hours every day just to get to and from work. Having said that, there are of course also many nice things about the commuting lifestyle - like the scenery in the mornings. Which can look like this for example:
Driving away from home to the train station at 6:30 AM.
Arrived. View from the train station, Bergasa, at 6:40 AM.
Also view from the train station - sunrise.
This is where I park my car in the mornings, along with a whole bunch of other commuters.
Train to Karlshamn arrives at 6:50 AM.
In Karlshamn on my way to work at about 7:40 AM.
I work a bit further down the road to the right, about a ten minute walk from the train station.
Back home again, about 6 PM. Phew!
Now I have not been able to find a good balance between blogging and being away from home about 12 hours every day yet, but I am sure I will find it soon. Because in a few weeks I will be able to decide when I start and finish work every day, we have something called flex time which means that as long as I work my hours every month I can do so almost between what ever time I choose during the weeks. Something I hope will make my life a lot easier.
When it comes to my beloved doggy Lisen, I do miss her during the weeks! Therefore I deeply cherish the weekends I have her home with me - like right now. :-)

And when it comes to my new job, I do like it there. There are a lot of new things to learn and process now in the beginning, but I am sure once I get into the groove of it all my one year of being a work commuter will fly by.
