Today my dog Lisen and I went for a little stroll on the other side (from where we live) of the Lyckeby River here in Lyckeby in Sweden.

And to get to the other side we had to cross the old Rail Road Bridge here in Lyckeby.

Now this bridge was originally delivered from Gothenburg in Sweden and built in the late 1800s. The bridge was first part of a railroad which ran here until sometime in the 1960s, when it closed. It then became the footbridge it is today.

And I just adore this bridge! Because it reminds me of one of those old scary bridges that sometimes appear in horror movies and that are the only link to and from an isolated horror island where a twisted plot take place. Not that that is the case here though. Hehe. I also feel like I should be expecting to see an alligator or crocodile swimming around down there in the river. Because it looks quite Amazonic (Amazonic as in like the Amazon River) to me.

But neither of those scenarios are of course likely to come true, or are they..?

Actually Lisen and I did see some very suspicious foot steps on the walkway on other side of the bridge.

So Lisen decided to take a closer look.

But naww. Nothing weird about those steps.

They were just Lisen's paw prints.

Because of course Lisen had to step in the only little puddle that existed on that walkway. Lol! So I backtracked and took some photos of her cute paw trail. Anyway, we had a lovely little stroll over there, on the other side of the Rail Road Bridge, this morning. And I look forward to many more adventurous walks there with my doggy in the future as well. :p
