Sometimes I like to take out my camera, put on the macro lense and just cruise around my apartment (including balcony) and snap shots of whatever captures my attention. A while back my attention was captured by this fly, who decided to come fly with me for a while.
Not the easiest object to get a great shot of though, but finally (with some assistance from Photoshop) I do believe I managed to get at least one good one. :-)
Last night when I was out with my doggy Lisen we ran in to this cutie:
Mister/Lady Hedgehog. :-)
Lisen is not very interested in hedgehogs though, I think she has had some sort of traumatic encounter with one in the past? Because she always hide behind my legs if I walk towards a hedgehog. Hehe. But I do not want to disturb them though, so I usually just walk away. However yesterday I did take a few photos, from a distance of course.
So a nice hedgehog surprise encounter indeed (for me at least). ;p
I just happen to look up and glance out my window earlier today here in Lyckeby in Sweden, and this is the wild view I saw.
View from my window, do you see them?
Two cute deer who seemed to be eating something...
...while keeping an eye out for possible danger of course.
Now I know we have wildlife up there, it is after all a nature reserve, but it is very unusual to see any wild animals out and about like that (except birds) - especially in the middle of the day. Either way, this "wild view" sure put a smile on my face. And I am so glad I happened to have my camera nearby so I could snap some shots of these adorable creatures to share here too. :-)
Cool! We have been house sitting at my mums this weekend and I thought I'd take some pics of all the snow outside. So we (me, my sister and dogs) were outside playing around in the snow, when all of a sudden Diva started barking and ran to the fence. And there she was, a moose cow, I think it was a young female moose. I have no idea were she came from, but she was not very afraid of our barking dogs. We stared at each other for a while. Then the moose decided to jump into a neighbours garden! Luckily for me I had my iphone with me! Wahoo! So here are some pics and videos from our encounter today.
First pic: Diva discovering the moose and letting us know about it. Second pic: the moose.
In the first video clip: the moose wandering towards a neighbours garden. And in the second video clip: the moose jumps into the neighbours garden!
