Best photo this summer! :p My sister and I were goofing around while (trying to) taking selfies on the ferry to Poland this summer. We had no idea the woman behind us was goofing around with us as well. Lol! Or at least it looks that way. Either way, I think it is such a fun photo!
It has been a great summer! Although the summer of 2017 was not the warmest here in Sweden, I most certainly enjoyed it. It was a summer of effectiviness for me, housewise, healthwise and enjoymentwise. After my big renovation this spring, a blog post with the end result will come, there were a lot of little things to finish up and decorate around the house and garden. So my vacation was mostly spent taking care of those things. When I was not working on the house I enjoyed walks, relaxing in my backyard, spending time with my nearest and dearest and a mini cruise to Gdynia in Poland with my sister.
Below is recap of my summer of 2017 in photos:
Celebrating Midsummer
This year's Midsummer Pole here in Nättraby in Sweden.
My not so traditional Midsummer food plate this year. Because I have changed my diet to Low Carb High Fat I did not eat as tradionionally as I usually do. But it was a really tasty plate of food anyway!
My not so traditional Midsummer dessert. Tradionally we eat Strawberrry Cake in Sweden on Midsummer's Eve, this year I had home made vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries and whipped cream instead - a very delicious substitute!
Finishing Up
Left: Me removing stones from my drive way. Boring, but a great work out. Lol! Right: Decorating my new bathrooms.

Mini Cruise To Poland
Goodbye Sweden. My sister and I were off on a 36 hour cruise to Gdynia in Poland.
Congrats, Alex! Yeah!!! :p I won both nights we were on the cruise. In fact, because I won my cruise ended up being free (I won as much as the cruise cost)! Whuaaat! :p
Good Morning Poland.
The Centrum Riviera Shopping Center., where we spent our day in Gdynia in Poland.
The largest shopping center in northern Poland with more than 250 stores.
Left: Me seeing New Yorker (red sign), one of my favourite stores. Right: Me enjoying a BIG cup of coffee with whipped cream at Starbucks.
Back in Sweden. The ferry Stena Spirit we sailed home with.
Waiting for our ride home from the ferry terminal.
All in all, my vacation and summer was much like the first half of my year - busy and hectic with some days of relaxation. Although I got a lot done I do not quite feel like I got the full rest and recuperation time I perhaps would have liked and needed. Having said that, this autumn and winter should be more calm for me. My focus will be to cath up with myself and all the changes that has taken place in my life lately. And to find some sort of a healthy life balance that will serve me in the best possible way. And I do have a good feeling about all of this! Indeed I do! :p
